Call for papers: Writing Support Services in Nordic Higher Education

2021-08-30

Writing support studies represents a diverse and growing field. Many institutions of higher education in the Nordic region have located their writing support services in or associated with the university library. Other services are integrated in the disciplines and/or research programmes. To showcase the working methods within writing support services, we invite research articles, theoretical studies, examples of best practice, or a combination of these.
We are particularly interested in

  • experiences with peer tutoring/peer mentoring
  • the training of writing tutors/mentors
  • dialogic approaches to writing support
  • writing support for different groups of students
  • analyses of various forms of collaboration across different subjects, levels and disciplines

Other, related topics and questions are also welcome!
Whether the contribution is empirical research, a theoretical study or a study of best practice, a systematic approach based on transparent, reliable methodology and/or theory must be applied.

Relevant submissions will be submitted to double-blind peer review.
